It was great to see you too
I loved hearing about your girlfriend’s boss who wrote 4 books
When I shared with you that I finally hired an editor for my book
It was exciting to hear all about you and your son and his company
And how much money you’re both making
When I answered your unintended question ‘How are you?’
It was just as if no time has passed
It is all the same as it was
It’s still a one-sided conversation about one person.
(this is not a poem, it’s a much needed vent)
