Much of life is proverbial laundry

Much of my life is proverbial laundry,

Lying around dirty, last week’s or perhaps even someone else’s

Conversations we process to file bits and pieces away

Do you leave it neat or piled high, messy?

Does it matter?

I dream of simplicity, yet have relationships I left lying in a corner

Or Scattered around like all of my vintage books

The ghosts often nag at me to deal, to remember, to write about them

I am a guardian of deep secrets

as you may know.

Much of life is proverbial laundry

We push, we pull, we meander, we hope, we struggle

And today I’m stashing away what I can’t fit into

Believing my tomorrows will bring freshness and shine

To what once was

I love my pups, my partner and the sea. I spend my days working with people who know how to make money, & have all the toys, yet they want so much more!
