Your personal core values define who you are, and a company’s core values ultimately define the company’s character and brand. For individuals, character is destiny. For organizations, culture is destiny.”

Your Values are Your Core Belief System

We each have a personal set of values built from our own unique life experiences and lens through which we see the world. People sometimes lose sight of what is truly important to them and find they are living their life in a way that’s incongruent with their core values and beliefs.

Your values may change throughout your life, and you may discover they change following significant life events. We can learn a lot about ourselves and the people we relate to by looking closely at the values that stand out as having true intrinsic value.

By taking a closer look at your primary core values you create a blueprint for yourself. This blueprint gives you the opportunity to make life choices based on what you believe is most important. You will have a useful map to guide you through decision-making and life’s many challenges.
